In large-scale construction, achieving high-quality surface finishes and exact geometric alignment is essential for both structural performance and architectural requirements. This paper outlines a comprehensive quality assurance (QA) protocol for column formwork, focusing on material selection, bracing stability, and surface preparation. By aligning with SNI 2847:2019 and international best practices (ACI 347), we demonstrate that rigorous QA processes significantly mitigate risks such as concrete honeycombing, misalignment, and surface blemishes. The study provides engineering practitioners with a standardized framework to optimize structural quality in challenging environments. Abstrak (Bahasa Indonesia) Kualitas kolom beton bertulang (RC) secara fundamental ditentukan oleh integritas dan presisi sistem bekisting. Dalam konstruksi skala besar, mencapai hasil akhir permukaan berkualitas tinggi dan penyelarasan geometris yang akurat sangat penting untuk kinerja struktural maupun persyaratan arsitektural. Makalah ini menguraikan protokol jaminan kualitas (QA) yang komprehensif untuk bekisting kolom, dengan fokus pada pemilihan material, stabilitas penyangga, dan persiapan permukaan. Dengan berpedoman pada SNI 2847:2019 dan praktik terbaik internasional (ACI 347), kami menunjukkan bahwa proses QA yang ketat secara signifikan memitigasi risiko seperti beton keropos ( honeycombing ), ketidaksejajaran, dan cacat permukaan. Studi ini memberikan kerangka kerja standar bagi praktisi teknik untuk mengoptimalkan kualitas struktural di lingkungan yang menantang. 1. Introduction High-quality formwork is an engineering imperative. Beyond merely holding wet concrete, formwork serves as the mold for structural integrity. In the tropical and seismic context of Bali, maintaining strict quality control over column formwork is essential to ensure that reinforcement cover is uniform, thereby preventing early-stage corrosion and ensuring optimal load transfer. 2. Analytical Methodology: Stability and Geometry The stability of the formwork system relies on the balance of external forces. The bracing system must be designed to withstand the lateral pressure $P_{max}$ and any incidental impact loads. The vertical alignment is analyzed using the maximum allowable deviation $\Delta_{max}$, which for column verticality is defined as: $$\Delta_{max} = \frac{h}{500}$$ Where: $h$ = Total height of the column ($mm$) The structural rigidity $S$ of the formwork system must be calculated to ensure that deflection $\delta$ under maximum pressure does not exceed the architectural tolerances: $$\delta = \frac{P \cdot L^4}{384 \cdot E \cdot I}$$ $P$ = Distributed lateral pressure ($kN/m^2$) $L$ = Spacing between vertical studs ($mm$) $E \cdot I$ = Flexural rigidity of the formwork material 3.
