This paper examines the technical requirements for formwork design and installation in accordance with SNI 2847:2019 standards. We analyze the effects of lateral pressure from fresh concrete, formwork stiffness, and proper bracing techniques on the final geometry and structural performance of columns. By addressing common execution errors, this study provides a systematic approach for engineering practitioners to ensure compliance and durability in seismic-prone environments like Bali. The paper concludes with recommendations for professional quality control and the optimization of formwork materials for high-rise commercial structures. Abstrak (Bahasa Indonesia) Integritas struktural kolom beton bertulang sangat bergantung pada presisi sistem bekisting. Makalah ini mengkaji persyaratan teknis untuk desain dan pemasangan bekisting sesuai dengan standar SNI 2847:2019. Kami menganalisis efek tekanan lateral dari beton segar, kekakuan bekisting, dan teknik penyangga yang tepat terhadap geometri akhir dan kinerja struktural kolom. Dengan menangani kesalahan eksekusi yang umum, studi ini memberikan pendekatan sistematis bagi praktisi teknik untuk memastikan kepatuhan dan daya tahan di lingkungan rawan gempa seperti Bali. Makalah ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi untuk kontrol kualitas profesional dan optimalisasi material bekisting untuk struktur komersial bertingkat tinggi. 1. Introduction In reinforced concrete column construction, the formwork must resist the hydrostatic pressure of wet concrete while maintaining strict dimensional tolerances. In the context of Bali’s seismic landscape, vertical alignment and correct reinforcement cover are critical to ensuring the load-bearing capacity calculated in structural design. 2. Analytical Methodology for Formwork Design The pressure exerted by fresh concrete on the formwork surface $P_{max}$ is a function of the rate of placement $R$ and the temperature of the concrete $T$.
