Grease traps act as a passive separator, slowing down the flow of warm, greasy water to allow lipids to float and solids to settle. In tropical regions such as Bali, the high rate of culinary activity necessitates rigorous MEP material specifications to withstand high temperatures and chemical cleaners. 2. Methodology: Grease Interceptor Sizing and Physics The sizing of a grease trap is determined by the "Drainage Fixture Unit" (DFU) or the "Peak Flow Rate." The residence time must be sufficient to allow oil droplets to rise to the surface according to Stokes' Law. Dengan menganalisis perbedaan densitas antara air dan lipid, studi ini menetapkan parameter kontrol aliran yang diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan efisiensi perangkap. 1. Pendahuluan: Mengapa Dapur Anda Butuh Grease Trap? Banyak masalah pipa mampet dan bau tak sedap di restoran atau villa di Bali berawal dari pembuangan sisa lemak langsung ke pipa drainase. Lemak yang mendingin akan mengeras seperti batu (fatbergs), merusak sistem plumbing dan membebani Septic Tank.
